Next Finder? This is a Macworld mock-up of Apple’s declared vision for the Mac OS X Finder: a File Viewer window that graphically displays where you are in the folder hierarchy, with room at the top of the window for the placement of favorite files or folders. At Apple’s annual developers’ conference in May, Steve Jobs and Apple software chief Avie Tevanian showed off a Finder interface that looked remarkably like the interface found in Mac OS X Server, Rhapsody, and the Next OS.
